Civil Servants Pensions for the Members of the Civil Servants Pension Fund
 
Retirement Based on Mutual Agreement
Qualifying conditions:
 
The male employee with 50 years of age and at least 25 years of rendering service and the female employee with at least 20 years of rendering service can apply for a retirement pension provided that the concerned organization accepts the request.
Forcible retirement
Qualifying conditions:
 
This type of retirement is based on the issued verdicts by the board for investigation administrative violations which is beyond of the employee or the concerned organization authority (males with 25 years and females with 20 years of rendering service ).

Compulsory retirement
Qualifying conditions:
 
The ministry and governmental organizations are required to pension off those employees who are 65 years of age , regardless the years of rendering service .




 
 
Voluntary Retirement
Authority of employee
Qualifying conditions:
 
A governmental employee with 60 years of age can apply for a retirement pension and the concerned organization is required to accept the request .
Authority of Organization
Qualifying conditions:
 
The concerned organization can pension off the employees who have rendered 30 years of service.

 
 
Invalidity pension
Qualifying conditions:
 
If a civil servant has become invalid while on duty , all the salary and fringe benefits plus 2 additional grades ( with calculating the encouragement grade ) will be paid to him or her as a retirement pension .
Invalidity due to non-occupational accident:
 
If a civil servant has become invalid due to a non-occupational accident, he will be pensioned off on the base of the years of rendering service ( plus 3 years as an assistance .)
 
 
Remarks :
In the cases in which the employee’s service years is less than 2 years , his or her last salary and fringe benefits in working years is regarded as his or her average salary .
In the cases in which an employee becomes invalid or deceased ( Articles 80 and 83,the Civil Servant Employment law ) , all his or her salary and fringe benefits plus 2 additional grades( with calculating the encouragement grade ) will be payable to the concerned employee or to his or her legal heirs .
If an employee is retired or deceased and all his or her service years is less than 15 years , it will be regarded as 15 years .
