Heirs’ Rights of the Deceased Civil Servants and the Retired covered by the Civil Servants Pension Fund
 
 
 
Qualified legal heirs :
  • Wife
  • Sons up to 20 years old , and up to 25 years old in case of being a student of a higher education institute .
  • Daughters and grand-daughters provided being unmarried , unemployed , and dependent on the deceased retired person , the while he or she was alive .
  • Father and mother who were dependent on the deceased retired person , the while he or she was alive .
  • Husband in case of being disabled and dependent on his deceased retired wife the while she was alive .
  • Children and grand-children in case of being disabled and not being able to work during their lifetime.
 
 
Stoppage cases for paying legal heirs pensions :
  • The marriage of widowed spouse since 14th. , May ,2001
  • The marriage and employment of daughters and grand-daughters
  • Sons over 20 years old in case of not being a student of a lighter education institute , and sons 25 years old in case of being a student of a higher education institute .
  • The abandonment of citizenship
  • The death of every pensioner
 
 
Reestablishing pensioner for legal heirs :
  • Daughters and grand-daughters in case of their husband’s death or being divorced ( provided being dependent on their father before his death )
  • If a second husband of a woman dies , his wife can benefit from her first or second husband’s pension and in case of being divorced , she can be entitled to receive her first husband’s rights .
  • The son who does not receive a pension due to being 20 years old , provided being a student of a higher education institute .
 
Note : Disabled children and grand-children of a deceased retired pensioner who are not able to work will be benefited from a pension for their life time .
